The slightly illiterate adventures of moi.

I love Helvetica.

In life on Saturday, 2.19.11 at 4:09 pm

Helvetica is quite amazing, isn’t it? And thanks to Etsy and American Apparel, I’m going to buy a Helvetica shirt and necklace. I’m obsessed, I know.

Nothing much happened today.

Well, something big happened and I’d rather not say it here.

This is major serious drama. Seriously.

I’m not even kidding.

I’m okay. I’m safe, I’m not hurt, I’m perfectly fine (well, mostly).

Don’t worry about it.

I haven’t started my homework yet. *cries* I have a ton to do.

If you haven’t noticed, the about and photography page have been updated.

Adios, muchacho.

CRAP CRAP CRAP. That is my life.

So. Since I’ve been gone, here’s what happened.

  • Got a MacBook Pro
  • Improved macro photography skills
  • Winter Formal
  • Major drama at Winter Formal
  • Made Tobias-like cutoffs
  • Sent my application to Westridge
  • Took the ISEE
  • Fallen in love with an actor and a guy at my school that have the same name, which is weird
  • Done my debate
  • Major problemos.

So. I will explain each one of these.

1. MacBook Pro! Thanks to loveliness of auntie, I have received itt.

2. Improved skillz! Well, I took really cool pictures. And I’m too lazy to post. So yeah.

3. Winter Formal + Major Drama! And these are fake names, btw.

Lily has liked Jimbob since 6th grade. However, at the dance, Jimbob saw Lily dancing with Andrew (and Lily and Andrew are just friends) and Lily wanted to know if Jimbob liked her, because she was convinced that Jimbob liked her too. So Andrew, one of Jimbob’s friends, said he didn’t, so I asked and he didn’t. So she was all sad and I felt all guilty.

And after the dance, we went and “shook it up” at Shaker’s. (which is a restaurant. we’re not like, stripping or anything.)

4.CUTOFFS: probably my greatest achievement ever. LOL jk. They’re cool. I wrote all over them.

5. Application/ISEE. So, I sent my application, and I’m feelin’ okay. The test was TOUGH. And when I say tough, I mean like, really, REALLY TOUGH. So I got a pretty good score considering I was taking a higher-level private school testy thing.

6. I don’t want to explain. It pretty much explains itself, right?

7. Debate. We totally crushed the other team. We were pro-TSA airport security. WOO.

8. Major problemos. I need a whole new post for this.

Diddle Diddle Dumpling?

In life on Wednesday, 1.26.11 at 4:39 pm

So, in English when we were evaluating nursery rhymes and finding conflicts, Garrett the Parrot got “Diddle Diddle Dumpling.” It was something about a kid going to bed with his breeches on. Yae Ji read it to the class and I totally ROFL’d except for the fact that I was standing up.

So, I was selling Girl Scout cookies (PLEASE BUY SOME NOW) and I took the form out to P.E. and Mrs. Lai got mad at me. Like, seriously? Just buy the cookies. I had a nice idea of going out into the outfield or like, 3rd base or something and selling the people on the other team cookies. ONLY 4 DOLLARS A BOX, PEOPLE. BUY THEM NOOWWWWWW!

So I was obvs feeling a bit pants about only selling 53 boxes in a week, but it’s all good in the hood, yo.

I SOUND EL STUPIDO. THAT MAKES ME SOUND EVEN STUPIDER. AND THAT MAKES ME SOUND WAYYY MORE STUPID. I SHOULD REALLY STOP BEING SO STUPID. GRR.

I am stoopid.

So, not much goin’ on here. But hopefully my teachers didn’t say crap about me in their reccomendations.

I wouldn’t really like to go to Westridge. I’d prefer Poly, but I was too late to apply. So Westridge, here I come! Hopefully. If I go, then I’ll have more spending money for clothes and stuff since I have to wear a uniform.

I want a guitar, plz. And a Polaroid. Vintage.

And a Nikon film camera. And a Canon Rebel T2i.

I have a super-long wishlist, right?

And I still want clothes, a laptop (macbook pro) and an iPhone 4.

So. That’s all.

P.S. BUY MY COOKIES.

or just give me money.
